It is worth mentioning that the export delivery value of Jiangsu valve industry in 2021 reached 2.208 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.9%. "In the first half of 2021, the orders of valve enterprises soared and stabilized in the second half of the year." Sheng Genlin, Secretary General of Jiangsu Valve Association, said in an interview with reporters that the revenue of some foreign trade enterprises has also turned negative into positive, with varying degrees of restorative growth.
The Secretariat of Jiangsu Valve Association counted the economic indicators of 98 key member enterprises (including valve manufacturing enterprises and their supporting casting, electric actuator, seal and other enterprises) in 2021. According to the data, 85 industrial output values increased year-on-year and 13 decreased. Among them, Aiken (Jiangsu) Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. achieved a total industrial output value of 111 million yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 283.7%, the highest growth rate; Lampa control valve (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. was RMB 278 million, with a year-on-year increase of 110%, ranking second; Suzhou antway Valve Co., Ltd. was 580 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 58%, ranking third. The industrial sales output value of 86 enterprises increased year-on-year and 12 decreased. Aiken technology achieved a sales output value of about 103 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 290%, ranking first; Lanpa valve was 255 million yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 110%, ranking second; Antway valve was 550 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 62.7%, ranking third.
In terms of total profits, 77 enterprises increased year-on-year and 21 decreased. Among them, Aiken technology achieved a profit of 12.33 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 807%; Lanpa valve increased by 137% year-on-year, ranking second. "At the same time, we should also see that in 2021, a series of difficulties such as repeated epidemic, rising prices of raw materials and power rationing led to a sharp increase in product costs. Many enterprises' valve products remained at the original price and their profits decreased by about 1 / 3 year-on-year, so the economic benefits did not increase but decreased." Sheng Genlin said.
Sheng Genlin told reporters that there are two main reasons for the bumper harvest of Jiangsu valve industry in 2021. First, the recovery growth after the sharp decline in the impact of the epidemic; Second, due to the impact of the epidemic, the imported valves originally planned to be used in many domestic projects cannot be delivered and can only be replaced by domestic products, which also gives the opportunity to expand the application of domestic valves. "As far as we know, many domestic valves have received good feedback after replacing imported applications. However, under some special working conditions, users can only choose to import high-end valves. The high-end road of domestic valves needs to continue," he said
Sheng Genlin also said that in view of the relatively full orders of major enterprises, the industry is expected to continue its growth trend in the first half of 2022, but the development trend in the second half of the year is still unknown.
