Metal Ring Gasket is a solid metal gasket with Metal Octagonal Ring Gasket or Oval Ring Joint Gasket cross-section processed from metal materials, which has the function of radial self tightening sealing. Therefore, the metal ring gasket is contacted with the inner and outer sides (mainly the outer sides) of the Flange trapezoidal groove by the backing plate and forms a seal by pressing. The octagonal ring gasket is matched with the flange groove, mainly in face contact. Compared with the oval ring gasket, although it is not easy to close with the flange groove, it can be used again, and because the section is composed of straight lines, it is easy to process. The Oval Ring Joint Gasket is in line contact with the flange groove and has good sealing performance, but the processing accuracy is required to be high, which increases the manufacturing cost. At the same time, the oval ring gasket cannot be reused.
